Pros

Working remote, only upside to working for them.

Cons

No clear processes, as they change how they do work every week. If they don't find profit, they fire whomever to keep costs down. Management leaves and employees are left in the dark. There's no communication between departments and you are left with no direction. You WILL be set up for failure if you work here.

Pros

Clear Vision and Influence: As a Product Owner, you have the opportunity to shape the product's vision and direction. This influence allows you to create a product that aligns with both business goals and customer needs, which can be very fulfilling. Cross-Functional Exposure: The PO role involves collaboration with multiple teams—developers, designers, marketing, and stakeholders—which provides a holistic understanding of the product lifecycle and valuable experience in diverse areas of software development.

Cons

High Responsibility and Pressure: The PO is accountable for the product's success, which can bring significant pressure. Balancing stakeholder expectations, customer satisfaction, and development constraints often requires challenging prioritization decisions. Limited Direct Control Over Development: While the PO guides the vision and priorities, they may not have direct control over technical implementation. This dependency on the development team can sometimes lead to frustration if there are delays or technical limitations.
