working for harris county offers great benefits for indivuals and families. in addition to these great benefits, harris county offer stability and opportunities for advancement in the work place. while having a college degree will greatly benefit status and salary, there are many positions within the county that require no degree completed all the while providing a salary that is affordable to the current cost of living.

Cons

some of the downside in working for the county is that you have to know the right people to get the answers you are looking for. furthermore, within some departments of harris county, you will be required to work extra long hours and you will have to encounter forfieting regular scheduled off days.
