Management is vindictive Alot of work for not the best pay. They expect people to run around to every department, but refuse to promote if you dont get in good with certain management staff. I have extensive management train from other companies, but I got passed over for promotion for having to call off once! (Per management) Pardon me for having the flu and being in the hospital. So I quit for a management position elsewhere. I gave them a 2 week notice. Did my job plus some and they still treated me like crap the entire 2 weeks. Then Im told I dont get a bonus check because Im not employed at the time, even though in their own training program I was told otherwise. This company does not care about their employees wellbeing.

Very Political All about who you know if you want a promotion. Take everything everyone tells you with a grain of salt. Actions speak louder than words. You'll be promised and told many things. Don't believe them right out of the gate. Stay focused on your job at hand and keep a watchful eye open at all times. You need to know how to deal with people. Look out for your management and they will look out for you (I'm not sure if this is a con but shows how politics play into your job)
