Pros

Definitely some of my coworkers, they tend to be pretty great and funny people. It's not a terrible first job.

Cons

Because of the retention rate for the front-end there's a lot of incompetency, ridiculous policies at times. They can stretch you thin if you're one of the few reliable people

Pros

-Hard workers will get all the hours they could want -Meet and work with a diverse group of people -Ability to "move up" -Great place to develop social skills -Profit share bonuses

Cons

-Absolutely no consistency in scheduling -Requests for ANY time off must be made at least 4 weeks in advance -Long hours can be physically demanding -Very poor communication across the board -The daily workforce on the Front End has been cut to save money at the corporate level forcing those who are on the clock to pick up the slack. This has led to worn out and unhappy employees resulting and sub-par customer service. -Unfortunately, customers can be extremely disrespectful. Some seem like they consider grocery store employees as sub-human... But this is a problem in retail in general so a thick skin is a huge plus! -Pay is pretty bad for anyone who is not in management
