      Easy going with good people

      Pros

      I worked in the distribution warehouse. It was a good atmosphere with great incentives and as a selector a great sense of comradery. We were also very competitive which kept it interesting. The management were cool and worked with you.

      Cons

      I don't really have any cons. The distribution center is a good place to work. The only reason I left was because I was offered an offer I couldn't refuse doing something else. I wasn't looking either.

      Pros

      Easy, pretty OK pay, easy to schedule time off, easy to move up the ladder if you choose, 401k options available

      Cons

      Some customers are really difficult, asking for donations can also be annoying, also monthly training quizzes are required, on call get obnoxious when planning life activitives

      Pros

      I love working for Harris Teeter. The associates care a lot and the customers are nice. Many associates and ALL managers greet associates by name. This company cares. I have learned so much about customer service and have learned how to be more social and conversational. I know a lot about food prices now and can get better deals than my mom when I grocery shop. I genuinely love working here and feel that it has taught me a lot.

      Cons

      Prepare for long lines, hours upon hours of standing up, and hours of bending into carts. I am young and in high school and after a shift my back hurts. We do not have conveyor belts, so we reach far into the baskets hundreds of times each shifts, and as a result I have had back pain that never was there before. It is not for everyone.
