      Staff - Faculty Divide makes life difficult

      Pros

      Harvard is a great place to work if you're looking for a place where not much will surprise you, the pace is generally slow, and the benefits and perks are good. It's easy to leave your work at work as a project coordinator.

      Cons

      I was routinely verbally put down as a staff member. The division between staff and faculty is strong, and staff are routinely asked to minimize their contributions in order to prop up faculty. It was a toxic environment.

      - everyone is friendly - holiday gifts - some people are very helpful

      Cons

      - incredibly disorganized - no structure for those inside of HR to sort out issues in the department - too much work just pushed down the line - no real support for employees inside of HR - not super POC friendly
