      Lots of resources but no help in cases of conflict

      Good funding, lots of resources

      Cons

      Job satisfaction is entirely dependent on your direct supervisor, and it is very difficult to get a new supervisor. There are little to no channels to try and mitigate conflicts. The administration and departments rarely take action on complaints regarding faculty, even in cases with minor conflicts that are easy to solve.

      Great benefits/PTO, slim chance of advancement

      Pros

      Access to continuing education, excellent benefits, PTO and decent pay compared to other colleges in the area. Provides stability.

      Cons

      Very few opportunities for advancement unless you know the right people who are willing to help and/or mentor. You get pigeon-holed into the same type of role, difficult to branch out and do something different and worthwhile. No support from managers and senior leaders

      An Incredible Experience

      Pros

      If you want to get paid a higher salary than many of the other on-campus work opportunities working with amazing people and a friendly management on really fascinating materials, this is the place for you!

      Cons

      The management can be a little too intense with work and reviews, but that is because the work you do means a lot to them.
