      Avoid this company at all costs. I'm leaving as soon as I find something else.

      Pros

      Decent salaries and benefits and a pretty good group of rank and file people to work with make things good. Also, free snacks and beverages.

      Cons

      Very Very long hours, dysfunctional upper management has no clue about budgeting. They spend money like a drunk on a bender on the most insignificant things and ignore important stuff. Example: the company bought custom embroidered tote bags and beach towels for all the employees. Less than a month later they announced an increase in health insurance costs and had a round of layoffs. WTH?

      Pros

      Department managers were great to work with.

      Cons

      Upper management turnover was high. Acquisitions were not prepped efficiently and management did not take control of new acquisitions.

      In response to this review, it is important to note that beginning in January, 2014, Harvest Power, Inc, and our Board of Directors, took steps to bring in a senior management team, including CEO, CFO, and other Sr. VP personnel, who had experience leading a mid-large size company. This step was key to continuing to grow our organization and prepare us for the next level. At the time of this former employee's posting, we were just about at the one-year mark under our new management team. We are happy to say that the company is strong and well on our way to continued success.
