Pros

Start up Average salary Get an opportunity to learn and improve

Cons

Micro management Processes aren’t streamlined yet Don’t get opportunity to become SME of one technology because you will be pushed into multiple directions at the same time No WFH

Pros

Hashmap is a good organization. If someone gets a chance to join Hashmap, he/she should be ready to handle multiple responsibilities and should be ready for learning latest technologies. In Hashmap, they work with technologies like AWS, GCP and Snowflake etc which keeps you updated with the trends. During my work tenure in Hashmap, I learnt a lot. Hashmap has really helped me grow in the career aspect.

Cons

Currently, can't think of any cons

Pros

The company has come a long way since. There have been several positive changes in the working and management of this company. Every company implements new policies and ethics come into play as it grows. The CEO has a great vision for the company Emphasis on learning new technologies to stay relevant to the market Emphasis on getting certified in the technology with proper guidance and learning material 360 view of a project you work on. You are not bound to just certain tasks in a project which is a great learning experience Onsite opportunities for every employee depending on talent and tenure Great minds you meet in the company Trust in employees Flexible working hours

Cons

No Performance Improvement plan for bottom quartile employees yet(It needs to be implemented) Letting go(firing) of employees without proper notice or putting them on a PIP earlier Frequently asking employees to move from one technology/project to other Some employees are revered which makes other employees feel a bit insignificant Not able to figure out the right man for the job. Very few employee engagement activities

Pros

The only pro I found in this company were few good colleagues who were genuinely very helpful.

Cons

1.No training on the new technologies. Employees are being forced to deliver the projects within a week of self learning. No guidance. 2.Only one stable project. Sometimes, they remove the employees from that project, sometimes they force the people on work on that project. 3.They hire people for some other technology and while working, they switch their technology by their own will. And If the employee is not willing to work on that technology, they straightaway fire them but (*conditions are always there*).The employees who come from the college of the CEO have the benefit to say "NO" but not the others. 4.No Salary Standard. The salary of the lateral employees having experience is way less than the salary of fresher’s coming from the same college as of the CEO. 5.No perks and benefits to the former employees. Even the appraisal system is so poor. They don’t care about their employees. 6.Lots of politics in the team itself, even few of the managers also support this. 7.The company is full of judgmental people. They behave sweetly on your face but acts in a very weird way behind your back. No one to trust in this organization. 8.There is no track record of leaves in the company, there are people who take more holidays but have no one to say anything especially for the ones who came from the same college as of CEO but for the other employees, their medical leave or other leave will be considered as a crime. 9.No employee engagement activities. 10.No structure, no hierarchy, no HR. Employees are confused from whom they should ask for leaves, whose words matter. 11. No cafeteria
