Pros
- Good colleagues willing to help, but no proper training provided. Sink or swim mentality. - Big office
Cons
- Biased in terms of giving out opportunities and firing people. They'll try to retain their female staff to preserve the gender ratio, yet its board members are mainly white Caucasian males. - They brainwash the juniors in thinking how good the company is because its privately owned etc. and how they nurture their juniors, yet when times are tough, they are willing to let them all go once their probation ends. - The rates they charge their clients is absurd, in comparison to how much they pay their employees. - No work means no job, make sure you join this company when there is a lot of work, or prepared to get fired. - Everyday work is brain numbing, and the work you're doing is simply copy and pasting from previous projects, completely put me off working in consulting. - Salary progression is slow and they dangle the stock option in front of people when they've worked their hearts out getting them clients.
