      Pros

      Good experience and great exposure to a variety of projects. People are easy to work with, have wide experience and always willing to share knowledge and experience, great place to work.

      Cons

      Virtually no opportunities for career growth, compensation below average and not linked to performance. I was promoted only so they could increase their margins, my increase was well below inflation. Good performance is unlikely to be recognised. You'll be crucified if you're unbillable even if you're trying to bring in new business, hence the company brings in very little new business. The company is struggling to hold onto young engineers.

      Pros

      Good employee benefits - probably good training but I never received any.

      Cons

      Simply not a stimulating work environment - projects weren't that interesting, and was pretty much doing the same thing day in and day out. When I was in university, Hatch was one of those top employers that all the students looked up at. Now that I've worked at Hatch - I can't see why.

      Nice offices, just an other EPCM organisation

      Cons

      Company is run by bunch of shareholders, who have conflict of interest in the decisions made. eg, redundancies to protect share dividend return, etc. The company is not transparent in terms of decision making and makers, as is not duly held accountable because it is not public listed.
