Pros

Great place to work if you enjoy sales. Must be able to multi-task and like to do great design for the sales staff's clients. Fast paced position. I worked hard and made good money because I knew my product well and listened attentively to clients and could produce designs quickly.

Cons

Retail hours. No future growth in position. Need to change up accessories quarterly and actively ask designers what products they want to sell. To much BROWN and TAN furniture gets boring.

Comfortable environment. Flexibility when time off is needed. Good benefits.

Cons

The company has decreased its incentives for sales people to make money. Does not pay as well as they used to so for a commission only job it is harder to make as much as they advertise that you will.

Siloed work environment, meaning not much teamwork nor a team environment. Everyone works only on their stuff. Cross functional work is done but only the department heads seem to know the end goal or strategy.
