I've seen a lot of people come and go and the people that have success are the ones that are able to learn the changes in the market, be able to speak fluently to engineers despite not being one themselves and lastly, be able to stay organized and have the tenacity to maintain contact during a long sales cycle. The fact of the matter is the SOLIDWORKS eco-system is vast and can get complicated, learning what everything does is a multi-year process and you will need to be really driven to make sales while your learning by working hard, asking basic questions and pulling in the correct resources. This can really be overwhelming when you work in a virtual capacity. But if you're hungry and are dedicated to getting to that point, the company offers great compensation really good bennefits and the best support in the industry. The gig is easy, you just gotta work at it.
