I am thankful Heath Catalyst as an Employer. I have never worked for a company that seems to care for its employees. I am so grateful to have kept my job during the COVID pandemic. HC navigated the pandemic very tactfully and came up with solutions to keep the company afloat with the least impact to the employees possible. I appreciate that your recognize your employees are humans and try to treat them with compassion and respect. I believe that kind of treatment inspires your employees to work hard for a company they believe in. I know I do.

Pros

They are very open, honest and up front. They do what they say they will do. They are very fair. All and all it is a great place to work. I agree with the company philosophy, employee conduct, values etc.

Cons

So far I don't have any.

Schedule is flexible and there are generous benefits.

Cons

It’s difficult to make an assessment about a company you have only been apart of since the beginning of 2020. Due to COVID, things have been highly stressful during this transition. Between working to meet a deadline and incorporating the numerous different tasks that Health Catalyst has implemented, it has been rather overwhelming. And our team surely feels the pressure. Career opportunities appear to be limited for those who do not have an IT related background.

Feel free to update your review in a year or two after you've had more experiences at the company to inform your perspective. I also appreciate the feedback regarding career paths and career opportunities for those outside of technical roles -- we'll talk some more about this, specifically as it relates to our clinical analytics and clinical improvement work which I believe will ramp up in 2021 and beyond, as important areas of career opportunity!
