      Great Company, Great Benefits, More Communication

      Pros

      I've worked here for over 5 years and love the company. We have amazing leaders that do the best they can, even given difficult times. We strive to put team members first, although sometimes, that can impact the sustainability of the company. The benefits are amazing, very competitive HSA contribution (for someone who rarely uses medical insurance, this is like free money), all team members get stock in the company and we have 19 or 20 paid holidays?! My manager supports a flexible work schedule, I never have to worry about going to a soccer game or school program and feel guilty. I have a very supportive manager to allows me to be creative and grow, I learn something new every day!

      Cons

      Our team is small, we do a lot with a little and we have for years. That can be demotivating at times that we can't expand our team. It can be hard to see significant investments in some areas that don't produce results, but not in areas that consistently overperform. I realize I only see a small piece of the puzzle and I have confidence in our leadership team that they are making the best decisions for everyone.

I appreciate your perspective and the challenging balance between transparency and having a fully baked plan of action or path forward. This is always a judgment call, and particularly over the past six months, we've striven to do out best to find that balance. When in doubt, we do typically err in favor of transparency, which has upside in building trust, but it can cause added concern as we develop and then execute on the plan of action.       Best place to work BY FAR!

      Pros

      We have the best CEO! He has us, team members, as his first priority, and not only with words, with actions! Benefits are superb! And the People Operations team is always looking for ways to improve them! Our new headquarters are amazing! But we still have the flexibility to work from home. This is a great plus! There is a lot of emphasis on Inclusion, Diversity, Acceptance…. It is a safe place to work for everyone. There is work still needed but we are in the right direction. Our mission saves lives and improve patient outcomes. It’s great work on that each day.

      Cons

      Some departments have better leadership than others. So not all team members are having an amazing experience.

      Excellent pillars, culture. Some silos.

      Pros

      Health Catalyst lives true to its pillars, particularly continuous learning and world-class. The company offers plenty of training at the individual contributor and leadership levels. It also instills a great sense of pride in our work against our mission of massively improving healthcare, generating world-class teams.

      Cons

      There are many silos among the business units and sales, client delivery, and product development that are tricky in any growing organization.
