Good culture & Management Is Constantly Improving

Pros

The company culture is it's best asset. The company values and pratices transparency and hires intelligent people that are open to hearing other points of view. The first three years I was there, the company was in its very early stages and as with any early- stage start up had its growing pains like creating processes. Management encourages feedback from everyone at every level and learns from their mistakes and makes changes. The organization is very flat with little egos.

Cons

The risk adjustment space can be dry and the pace of product development can be slow.

C-suite is more interested in politics than running a business Senior management is generally clueless about product development Criticism will make senior management angry, but that's it CEO prioritizes people in his good ol' boys network over people who get work done

Excellent company in a very competitive space

Pros

This company was, hands-down, the best organization I have worked with so far. Very talented and humble people, great technologies, and positive culture. The Engineering team is has quite flat hierarchy, so there is no bureaucracy. Everyone is very approachable, mission-driven and honest; open to trying out new ideas and technologies. Teams are nimble, iterating through development cycles and producing concrete results. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there: not only was it professionally prodoctive, but also involved some very fun offsite events! The company is growing quickly and is making phenomenal difference in the way healthcare industry works. Now might be a great time to join this awesome engineering team and make an impact!

Cons

Located on the peninsula. So unless you have access to Caltrain, you are looking at a significant commute.
