As a startup company, you will have a pretty good opportunity to explore new techs and make your impact. And the engineering team is like a family, you don't mind helping each other.

Pros

The company culture is it's best asset. The company values and pratices transparency and hires intelligent people that are open to hearing other points of view. The first three years I was there, the company was in its very early stages and as with any early- stage start up had its growing pains like creating processes. Management encourages feedback from everyone at every level and learns from their mistakes and makes changes. The organization is very flat with little egos.

Cons

The risk adjustment space can be dry and the pace of product development can be slow.
