      Hard work low pay

      Pros

      Great people who work together. And care about the patients

      Cons

      Always short, can't go to lunch due to legal issues of having to ha so many nurses on floor with pts. Management doesn't care how many patients are scheduled even if it is 8 to 1. MMA doesn't help most of the time. You get written up for BS. Nurses are allowed not to do certain procedures for religious reasons and others haven't to pick up the slack, and if you say anything you get written up. Pay is at the scale of 1990's. Don't see your manager unless your in trouble.

      Pros

      They are the largest employer in Brevard.

      Cons

      Most management is not educated or have the skills necessary. "But we've always done it this way" is the mantra. They don't invest in the operation. Managers and above never get a merit increase - they did away with them last year, so your base salary will never increase unless there is a market adjustment.
