For health care professionals, this is probably the best place to work in Brevard County
Pros
Organization is committed to providing excellent and safe patient care, and creating a positive work environment for employees during an extremely challenging period of increasing health care costs. Wages are moderately competitive compared to other hospitals in central FL.
Cons
Overall value of my benefit package diminished significantly over the years. During 2 of the 10 years of my employment, merit and cost of living increases were not awarded to employees. Per diem staff do not receive benefits or annual pay increases but were often expected to work full time hours. Hospital tends to push "Diversity" too far and employs a large number of HB1/foreign nationals from abroad to save on payroll costs (instead of providing those jobs to US citizens).
