      Pros

      I have worked for HEALTHDRIVE for 8 years. It is truly the best job I have had. I personally love working with this population. The best thing is the feeling you get everyday, of giving back to those in need. Your day is full, treating patients and working with other health care professionals to maintain the quality of life for people who need your help. There is a degree of independence, that is very appealing, and allows you to be comfortable treating your patients, without pressure. Working for a larger corporation has many Pros as opposed to private practice, including benefits, and the people behind the scenes. The support staff is excellent, they are one of the reasons that our company is so successful at keeping providers.

      Cons

      Driving longer distances is not for everyone, although I don't mind at all. Also, some people are not as comfortable working with the elderly population, many of whom have dementia or other serious illnesses.,

      Pros

      I have been with HealthDrive just over a month and the training has been very in depth and very important as it has prepared me for my day to day activities in the field. All staff from Sr. Leadership to employees on the operations side have been very helpful and eager to help as I have been learning more about the business and more about the company.

      Cons

      So far In the month that I have been with HealthDrive I do not have anything to share as far as a cons go.

      Pros

      Great for an optometrist who does not want to get bogged down with the operations of running a private practice. Your entire time is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of your patients and working with other health care professionals to maintain the highest quality of life for those that are in the most need.. Your support staff is exceptional and the benefits are right on par with other companies of this size.

      Cons

      Working with the elderly, many of whom have dementia or other serious illnesses, can be very challenging and is not suited for some people.
