Thank you for your review of HealthEquity on Glassdoor. While it's great that you've had a good experience with total compensation, I'm very sorry to hear that you've seen a culture change and have experienced the need for better interdepartmental communication. If you haven't expressed these insights to your leader of the People Team, I would definitely encourage you to do so. Company culture is so important, and being vocal about your experiences will only help us improve. Culture is a product of all of our teammates, and your feedback is greatly appreciated, as it allows us and other teammates to identify ways to further cultivate a positive culture.

Pros

I worked there prior to the WW acquisition. PTO, stock options, well branded swag that you’re not ashamed to wear in public, awesome company parties, almost fully-funded Employer HSA contributions, great Wellness program.

Cons

No formal training outside of Member Services They say they like to promote from within, but prefer to hire external male candidates with no related experience instead of internal female candidates with 10-15 years industry experience. This happened to me AT LEAST four times. I loved my direct manager and she worked really hard to try and find me a fit, because I felt it was a good company to work for overall, but I was obviously black-listed by someone, because I kept losing out to less-qualified men. Total compensation is comparable, but actual salary is much lower than industry standard. Because of where they are HQ’d, there is very little diversity.

Thank you for your review of HealthEquity on Glassdoor. I'm sorry to hear that your experience wasn't in line with current and ongoing efforts to further promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Aside from very intentional hiring efforts (some of which attributes to a 50/50 split in gender among current leadership), a less intentional benefit that came as a result of the WageWorks acquisition has been an influx in diversity of talent. Your feedback and similar feedback is certainly not taken lightly, and although you're no longer with HealthEquity, the input you provide is valuable to help us grow and improve. Thank you!
