Pros

The business model is pretty excellent. It's basically turnkey. Marketing is all handled through 3rd party vendors who send you leads. Depending on the office, you can receive top notch training from an experienced agent. My current manager is Chris Smith, a top agent in the country. He has more quadrupled my income in the last 8 years since I've been working with him. I don't know of any other job or business where you can increase earning power by 400%+ in less than 10 years. I earn in the 6 figures. I work hard but only between 9a-5p and never weekends. I also work from home. So, when 5p hits, I'm already home!

Cons

You have to be resilient. It's sales. It's commission only. You have to work hard and be disciplined. You have to be incredibly organized and able to mutli-task. It's a rigorous job but its rewards are well worth it. It will give you your life back since the hours are manageable and there is basically no commute (work from home). It will also give you plenty of money.

Pros

Unlimited growth potential, you are rewarded for working hard. Leadership is always there to assist when you have questions, with planned trainings as well as one on one sessions. Company has developed a very strong and profitable niche in the individual health insurance space which is where you can get a good deal of your meetings, but you are not pigeonholed into doing just that as you have top carrier products for life, disability, medicare, etc. as well.

Cons

Have to be proactive and comfortable with the freedom to set your own schedule and stick to it in order to see high levels of success.
