      Pros

      I never would have thought I could make the amount of money I do while doing something I love everyday. I am truly blessed to be working at such an amazing company with so many amazing opportunities and people.

      Cons

      The only downside is the initial fear of starting your own business and not having a base pay, but that quickly subsides once the first sale is made.

      Pros

      HealthMarkets has changed my life. I used to cut grass in the 150 degree San Antonio heat everyday...Couldn't be happier with the opportunity that I was given. You are given the tools to make a 6 figure income. The path is paved you just have to walk on it!

      Cons

      The best and worst part of this job is the flexibility. You must have dedication, self discipline, and a great work ethic.

      Pros

      I have been contracted with HealthMarkets 7 years, and it is the best decision I have made since leaving the traditional corporate setting. I love the fact that there is no glass ceiling, and the work we do here is all about helping our client build a wall of protection around them. We are able to do this because of our large portfolio of health, supplemental, and financial products. The training is second to none. There is no one that we are not able to assist in some shape or form. If you want a career and you are an entrepreneur then this is the company to be affiliated with.

      Cons

      The changing environment in the insurance industry. If you are not flexible and willing to change or shift with the industry this could be a problem.
