      Ability to make as much or as little as YOU choose. Unlimited sales support with access to multi-million dollar technology at no cost to you as an agent. Lead generation and marketing program is second to none. Great mix within the product portfolio, all of the best carriers in each line of business represented. 95% retention of the top 500 agents in the company, that's unheard of in the industry.

      Cons

      new people sometimes find it hard to manage their time efficiently, so if they don't plan their days carefully they could be disappointed with their lack of success.

      Be your own boss. Set your own hours. Never miss a family function. Be paid well for what you do. Be respected in your community. unlimited income for a motivated person. Diverse product offerings mean you can specialize in many different areas.

      it takes significant time to develop a steady income stream. Straight commission versus salary.

      10 Years and Could Not be happier

      I started a new career at age 52. After working 45 to 50 Hours for some one else and getting let go for no other reason then they picked my brains and got what they wanted. Now I work the same amount of hours and am making more money then I did before. Over the last 4 years in spite of the ACA my income has doubled but I am not working any harder but smarter due to all the tools and training that is provided by HealthMarkets. If you are willing to listen and be HONEST to your self about your work effort.. This is a great opportunity to be self employed without a lot of start up Cash. My business is thriving because I treat people like I want to be treated and the referrals from my existing clients are pouring in.

      You always want higher commissions and better leads. But leads are just a name and a number. Really no Cons
