      Great benefits/perks. A significant amount of respect comes with being affiliated with HCA, both within the company, as well as outside of the company.

      Cons

      All talk but no action. The reputation of the company is outstanding, and a high selling point for anyone looking to start working for the company. They make it sound like a dream job with endless opportunities for advancement and success. But the longer you work for the company, the more you begin to see that it's nothing more than talking a big game. There is no follow-through, and rare advancement opportunities. Once you are in a position, they will do whatever it takes to stonewall you if you try to ask for a promotion or a raise or any kind of advancement. You will be stuck behind a glass door until you decide to leave the company. Also, there is an collective opinion that the majority of the employees here are under paid in comparison to similar positions/companies.
