Pros

The company is going strong and experiencing positive growth. With several new large members, there have been a number of new jobs created.

Cons

Too many new processes are being created that don't address root causes - just creates more work and wasted time without generating the needed results. Management does not demonstrate trust in employees and although will ask for feedback, does not take that feedback to heart and continues to make top-down decisions that do not reflect the feedback provided.

Pros

Interesting and challenging work experience in healthcare value and supply expense management.

Cons

I worked for Healthtrust as the a clinical resource director for 2.5 years in Las Vegas, NV. I was in the position through the worst of the pandemic. What I experienced was a major lack of alignment between Healthtrust and the HCA facilities I served. As my job was to try to better align the entities in terms of supply expense performance, this was almost impossible. I had facility executives that would refuse to partner in engaging the corporate initiatives, and when they failed, it all fell back on me. I was later assigned a second facility, and expected to perform without any additional resources, though I regularly voiced that I needed them. This role is responsible for duties of about 3 FTE’s. The Poor leadership and unreasonable expectations drove me into diagnosed anxiety and depression, which resulted in my resignation.
