      Great environment, lacks sense of urgency

      Pros

      The environment at HTRI is the best you will find. Everyone is very friendly, everyone has their own office (correct, no cubicles) and compensation is extremely competitive

      Cons

      There lacks a certain sense of urgency at the company. Deadlines aren't really deadlines. While this seems attractive at first, it makes inter-departmental projects very frustrating at times.

      Pros

      Flexible arrangements can be made to work remotely. Client base is engaged and provides valuable feedback for improvements.

      Cons

      Non technical management, trying to run a technical company. Large turnover; HR has a tendency to micro-manage causing skilled staff to seek employment elsewhere. Wage increases does not keep up with inflation. Too quick to force programs to change to suit the 'big' firms rather than do what is technically correct.

      Flexible work schedules, opportunities for advancement, great company culture, friendly and knowledgable coworkers, modern computer equipment, fantastic compensation and benefits

      Cons

      Quite a few meetings, a lot of design and documentation overhead, communication can be quite difficult between the different departments
