Pros

Company is a part a large global organization, HeidelbergCement, which in the past 25 years has really moved from being a static German company to an impressive industry leader. IT is very state-of-the-art. A lot of sharp people, who seem to be much younger than the industry average Compensation is very competitive. Strong feeling of job security. Company has been growing at a good speed and made several large acquisitions which they have successfully integrated.

Cons

Due to the size of the company, there has is naturally a large amount of reporting and a fair amount of bureaucracy. Not much company spirit or enthusiasm. Lehigh North corporate environment is a bit sleepy.

The business managers were great to work with on projects.

Cons

Horrible leadership skills and communication from IT management. Not able to clearly assign projects and roles. Major communication problems and little knowledge of processes in own environment.
