weren't suppose to accept tips, but management had no problem taking the tips we did get and using it for buying coffee

while the company policy is that you can not accept tips, we had a tip cup and sometimes customers would hand tips to us directly. if managment caught this, we were made to put it in a cup that they collect and use for stuff for the store like coffee. most of the staff besides management didn't drink coffee. I would have prefered my tips didnt get taken from me.
