Pros

- Talented, intelligent coworkers - Good product - Generous discounts

Cons

The US organization runs off of German equity model with multi-year delays in vesting and paying out stock options due to allegedly complex German stock exchange matters. They hold stock out in front of employees like a carrot in front of a horse...only it never pays out. Absurd, incoherent, Kafkaesque and seemingly deliberately obtuse and opaque, the stock is like a Christmas that never comes. Don't include their "total rewards" as part of your comp, most people leave before they ever see stock, don't qualify it at all, or there's some catch/snag/hitch that prevents you from accessing what is owed to you as part of your performance.

Pros

SUPER relaxed environment. You do not have to do your job. Pay is really good.

Cons

Your career will die here and you will learn nothing. They have no sense of long term planning at all, and everything they do implement is counter intuitive. Leadership is absolutely clueless, and they put a bandaid on major issues instead of fixing them. The WMS systems implemented are 40% accurate at best, and the bureaucracy around trying to improve things, or move the needle forward is insane. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Terrible place to advance.

Pros

Discounted food (didn't stay long enough to enjoy that) Free snacks Laid back dress code

Cons

Not enough training. Management is lackluster and not very knowledgeable. This office is the epitome of petty. They don't want you talking to people in other rows, but management is loud and obnoxious most of the day. Pay is crappy and non negotiable. One week of training just isn't enough and I really hope someone changes this for future employees. They seriously need a handbook. Making up rules as you go isn't professional. I believe a handbook is necessary to back up their decisions with hiring and firing. They should really be concerned with the turnover rate. While some are indeed getting fired, a very large group of people are leaving WITHOUT notice. That should be a strong concern for management.
