A chaotic work environment!!! No support from management

Pros

The pay is decent & you a 75% discount on their meals.

There a lot of cons and red flags that should have this place legally shut down. Working long hours some managers they have are very inexperienced to operations, there’s lots of favoritism, no room for growth or opportunities HR is never present the place is ran by temp agencies and all they do is just stand around not doing anything. Break room is always filthy and bathrooms are disgusting. Even when you try to use the restroom you have 7 to 10 ppl just standing around in the restroom some of the ppl they have working there look like teenagers. No structure they let the contract workers do whatever they want like kiss each other on the work place floor just so unprofessional!!!. They order too much product for such a small warehouse. & when there is no work instead of sending ppl home they send to a small break room and some sit and crowd hallway floors which is considered a safety hazard. This place is the most terrible unorganized workplace I’ve ever experienced in my years of working!!! Factor employees get treated like crap.

Bias towards African Americans at the Factor75 location in Lake Zurich, IL.

If you’re looking for a job that provides a lot of work hours then it is reliable

At Factor75 warehouse in Lake Zurich, IL. (Hello Fresh) there is a continuing bias and racist culture towards African American employees. I am a Mexican American who have been working there for 2years and I have witnessed most of the employees (including team leaders and agency representatives) mistreat the black employees, make racial slurs, and do all that they can to push the black employees out of that Hello Fresh location. It has been a issue that I have been witnessing for a long time at that Hello Fresh location. The staff with authority would let newly hired african Americans work for about a few weeks to make it appear as if there is diversity in that facility so it doesn’t look obvious. Then after about a few weeks a team leader or other employee with authority would make it appear as if the black employees aren’t adequate for the job and then get them fired. That way it doesn’t look obvious. I’ve actually had some team leaders and other staff with authority admit this, and then joke about it as if it’s funny. Many of the staff members are in cahoots with this practice and also make false complaints about some of the African American employees just to make them look bad, when in reality the complaints were lies. Which I am a witness to. As a Latino man I am ashamed of the behavior of my co-workers and I feel bad for the black employees there. Someone should do a serious investigation about this. The black employees can’t adequately communicate with their team leaders because most of the team leaders don’t adequately speak or understand English . And the last time I checked, a team leader has to be bilingual so he/she can communicate with the staff members on his team.
