Pros

-lots of time off -shorter hours in the summer -decent benefits

Cons

Administration is not interested in hearing ideas and/or concerns from employees. Safety is a concern partly due to the staffing crisis. Kids are extremely aggressive and there is no support from administration when strategies do not work. Other schools are letting students go and HH school is continuing to accept students despite being in the same staffing situation. New administration talks negatively about current employees to other employees creating an extremely negative and uncomfortable work environment. Caseloads are huge and unreasonable because you are expected to cover for employees that continue to leave. Kids are on iPad most of the day because there is not enough staff to engage with them. Quality of education has gone down significantly. Red flag: Upper management asked staff to write positive Glassdoor reviews.
