Good, but with some issues

Pros

Benefits are good, employer paid health insurance. Cheap dental and vision. PTO is pretty generous. Compensation is fair. The technology is up to date and fast. Employer paid lunch once a month.

Cons

These problems only apply to the payroll department, I think life outside payroll is much different. There are different favorites in the payroll department and if you're not one of them, you will know it. Lots of abrupt changes with no notice to the department, just management deciding things with little input from the department. I agree with another reviewer that said if one employee does something wrong, there are department wide new rules & restrictions that rarely make anything better. Vacations are not easy to take, as coverage has to be divided among the department and people don't like doing any extra work than necessary. Advancement opportunities are very few and far between (unless you're an aforementioned management favorite).

Fantastic place to work

Pros

The owners are very friendly and know all of their employees. The management truly cares for the people on their teams and will bend over backwards to make sure they're taken care of. On stressful days, the managers will sometimes buy lunch for their team. I feel more appreciated here than any other company I've worked for.

Cons

Things can get a little hectic and stressful around deadlines, but the team is always willing to help.
