Pros

Hmmm....Once a week in morning meetings you get Hardees biscuits, they'll come in steak, ham and sausage...if you're lucky you can grab two!!!:) You'll also get to drop your business card in a box to be picked and win a chance to spin for money.

Cons

Is one star the lowest I can choose from????Sheesh....Very negative attitudes, as I was told by a used car manager (you can easily be replaced) as he plucked a crum off the desk. The managers will belittle you, and they over staff because they expect people to leave...the turnover rate is VERY high...I've seen 3 quit in a week. Just not a good place and they don't make you wanna sell a car for them...assuming you'll even get a customer to talk to...they hire anyone, kids who are inexperienced and can't sell and more so run away potential sales that those who can sell miss out on. I could keep going, but you should have the picture by now, choose the car lot across or down the street,,, avoid this dealership...Oh, and they don't advertise,,, not in my location anyways which is HUGE!!! Who knows you exist?

Pros

Earning Power-If you are willing to work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, then you can make $80k a year. However, as one GM put it, "the days of cars sales professionals earning $100k a year is over". They might say that they want you to make money, the truth is, they are going to over staff the dealership with too many sales people that very few people have the chance to make a decent income.

Cons

Hours-too many. commission structure-in the dealers favor, not yours. work environment- do you like to be belittled? Advancement- there is no room for advancement unless you are related to someone at the top, you're a minority, or you are a woman. More concerned with looking good than doing good.
