Very cheap school system.

Pros

Winter break, Fall break, Summer break. The staff on the general office is friendly and helpful even though they can't do any thing about the sorry pay.

Cons

Paid once a month, pay is divided over 13 months, pay is prorated if you don't start you job in August. Not paid until the end of August and year starts at end of July. The pay is TERRIBLE for the amount of work you put in. One of the cheapest school systems in metro Atlanta. Teachers are given only 100 to buy resources. You need a second job to survive.

Pros

Balanced calendar is nice.

Cons

Board of Education does not support teachers or paraprofessionals. Many principals are not very professional. Good teachers are leaving the county. Salaries are too low!
