      Professional and culturally diverse inner-city hospital with so many opportunities to grow, to learn and to enrich your professional and personal life. If you like large Trauma 1, fast paced 900 bed hospitals, then welcome to Henry Ford.

      Pros

      Fellow coworkers are typically good and work well together because we have to have each other's back since we know the workplace won't.

      Cons

      More focus on profits than employees. Don't seem to value any loyalty or show appreciation to long term hard work employees, if they do it is superficial. The corporation is supposed to be non profit by they just went through a big rebranding and marketing and then said oh we need to watch our budget and started cutting people's jobs giving them option to take on extra work or apply else where in the system or leave. They did this to people that have been there for years some even over 20 years.. ridiculous.

      Friendly coworkers, nice clean place to work.

      Cons

      Communication is lacking in a lot of departments. Management is too lenient on some employees and it creates animosity. Rules only apply to some.
