      Pros

      Nice people in my department, for the most part. Health benefits are pretty good but definitely getting more expensive on the employee contribution side.

      Cons

      Leaders often are arbitrary when it comes to recognizing the contributions of team members. They have their favorites, and the favorites aren't always the best employees. You can be overlooked easily. If you are too good at your lower-level job, department leaders don't want you going anywhere because you make their lives easier. So good luck getting promoted, unless you are best buddies with one of the department leaders.
