      Pros

      Flexability in the professional positions. The atmosphere is good, dependent on the location and the department. Great resume builder as HFHS is very well known.

      Cons

      Constantly downsizing and laying off people. Poor compensation and benefits are constantely being cut. Senior Management is more focused on bottom line than on the actual outcomes.

      Pros

      benefits decent, commute is not to bad.

      Cons

      No potential for growth in terms of salary and promotions. Corporate culture used to be admirable but the Administration has created tension. Those that have been here over 5 years might have some security but the rest of us are trying to stick with what we have got. Overworked, no room to be heard, and fear of job retention. Working for this size hospital is proving to be a disadvantage for middle and site managers and directors. I certainly feel that upper level management doesn't care about making us grow.

      some great physicians and researchers who try to do their job but can't because of the inept structure, leadership and only interested in self promotion.

      Cons

      leadership, nepotism, horrible pay and benefits. HR useless.
