      *Coworkers on shift make it so everything runs smoothly and you can always ask for assistance when needed *It gives you good insight into what to expect in a typical lab setting even if ordinarily these tasks would be allocated to multiple people

      Cons

      *The pay and the amount of work that is required of one individual is shocking *0 and I mean 0 regard to work-life balance *Lack of teamwork and opposing shift squabbles (shifts do NOT get along) *Management largely ignores the stress being placed on employees, plays favorites and the whole thing feels like high school all over *No matter how much you try to excuse yourself from office drama, they find a way to haul you in

      The benefits are great and the company is one of the largest health systems in the metro Detroit area so the opportunities to network are certainly there.

      Cons

      Little room for advancement, bonuses are obsolete, and lack of support from leadership lead to high work stress.
