Hercules was founded in 1962 and has since grown to be the 20th largest wholesaler in the US. Effective October 1, 2019, Hercules is an employee-owned company through an Employer Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This new ownership structure will ensure the company’s independence and will allow Hercules to continue to grow and serve our customers, while maintaining our core philosophy of taking care of our employees.
