Pros

National company, free rentals when you fly to another destination

Cons

Mismanaged terribly, managers use the trickle down effect. If numbers aren't where corporate wants them to be, they blame everyone else below them. Health benefits are a nightmare! They hire a 3rd party company to verify eligibility. They are awful to deal with (Cosova). I had to verify my daughter was my daughter and my wife was my wife by affidavits, marriage licenses, birth certificates, and private bank account information just to get insured. This is all done in house. It has nothing to do with United Healthcare (who are actually decent). They said that still wasn't enough proof of marriage! They wanted our tax return as well. Poor management. My company issued computer was stolen out of my company vehicle which was locked. Hertz made me pay them back for the computer, when the same thing happened to others and they didn't have to pay back. Also, the territories are awful and the pay is less than adequate. They make many promises that they do not keep in the end.

Pros

Close relationships with co-workers was the best part, I was fortunate to have a good working relationship with most people I encountered.

Cons

Lack of honest communication, too many changes without real explanation. Those in hourly positions often felt out of the loop and disposable. Often heard comments from others about "Mark and his buddies in Park Ridge" and the benefits they had as compared to those in OKC and elsewhere.

Pros

Good salary, Good benefits, Good working hours and you get to manage a great network of customers who are usually very friendly.

Cons

Unfriendly corporate higher ups, Management won't hear any opinions or new ideas unless they go an incredible amount of red tape. Sales Reps in badly need of people skills training, obsolete and unsafe equipment, higher ups out of touch with business reality.
