-The higher up the chain you go, the more corporate politics and bureaucracy are present.
-Do not disagree, or ask your boss to provide the logic behind the choices made. This is not a logical company.
-Current culture is "every man for himself." This means do not share information. You are supposed to hope that others fail, otherwise upper management will train their eyes on you.
-Upper management currently has the mentality that they need to "move the furniture" in order to make things look new so that when Park Ridge or consultants come in to judge them, they can show how they changed things. It may not be for the better, but as long as the setup is different, the higher ups seem to like it.
-Very hard to get straight answers out of supervisors. If you have not worked at Hertz for 25 years, no one really cares about you.
