Pros

The people within your department your fellow full time people are very nice and respectful people.

Cons

Management is HORRIBLE. Customers are suppose to have a nice in and out experience and we try to supply it but Hertz at Atlanta Airport is horribly managed they cannot keep the accurate amount of vehicle to supply to reservation customers which led customers to have a sour experience within 2 years Atlanta Airport location fired 2 Area Managers (big bosses) 1 of which has a habit of being to playful with female employees. Fired 2+ level 2 managers again 1 of whom had a sexual harassment case pending also was caught steal rental cars. Lastly the CEO "retired" after being accused of criminal activities with stocks from 2011 to 2013 Overall stay away from this company especially in Atlanta.

Pros

Gained knowledge of auto industry, met hundreds of customers, and learned to deal with high stress environment. The stress and overall terribleness of this job helped me really propel my job search efforts.

Cons

We had two offices staffed by three people, and managment was slow to refill the positions we lost. The branch probably should have minimally been staffed at 6 people. Long hours driving, to get more cars we needed to send people constantly all day to O'hare airport and back which was a waste of resources and time. No formal training, all of my training took place on the job and I was expected to run the entire operation alone within 4 weeks. This meant understanding compliance policy, learning 3 different computer applications, understanding and pitching insurance products, detailing cars, handling reservations, keeping track of inventory, and meeting with the 8 auto dealerships we did business with.
