Pros

Good Learning and Excellent Training

Cons

Hexaware is a company where a fresher can join and learn projects and enhance skills but as soon as he completes 2 years of his experience. He should look for new opportunity outside. Hexaware gives better opportunities to those who maintains good personal relationship with project managers, leads etc. In some cases, your performance may get counted if you got a very good Manager who is very good performer in the company. In my case, I saw, A worst performer getting promotion twice where as best performer never got the same in next 3 years. why ?? Because Worst guy has maintained a very good personal relationship with top mangament. Most of the managers spend thier time in internal politics. And some are not qualified for the job. They are there just because they joined the company 10 years before. HR is just slave of managers. What ever mangaer will say about employee , they will follow. Though employee is innocence, he would be punished(I mean in Appraisal Cycle). Manager never track performance of the employee and Reviewer never bothers to review comments given by Employee. Appaisal System is just to show that they are following the process. Growth is on case 2 case basis. If you get onsite for first time, you would go again and again. You might get good growth in some cases. There are some good managers in Hexaware as well. But u should be very lucky to get those role models. I could see that contract employees and laterals used to get more importance and encoruagement compared to freshers. This is most important thing abt Hexaware. Employees are not allowed to leave before 90 days from date of resignation though they are on bench.. This is something very bad. A company should never stop an employee to go outside without any reason. They want employees to loose their offers and revert back the resignation. This is something against the growth of the employee.

Pros

- OK salary - Policies can change easily. You resign and they will work for you - leaves - Small company hence you can talk to senior people easily (if you work in the same office)

Cons

- Work like a startup. No process in place. Everything on paper. - No formal communication. You write emails to anyone in the organisation (HR, manager etc). They will not reply or work on it, until you go to them or call them personally. - Less projects henceconsider yourself lucky if you can stay onsite for more than 1 year continously. - They will do 6 months project in 3 months and expect you to deliver the same. How to do it is your problem. - One of my friend joined them at onsite in US and the project was supposed to go on for 1 year. 2 months after joining the project was scrapped. - More managers and less developers in projects. - The hours you spend in office is equal to the work you do. If you have to leave early for some reason then you are inefficient and do not work. - Work from home or remote work authorization is a sin here. Either come to office or take leave. Work from home means that you are only enjoying. - HR policies can change at any moment , according to what managers want.

Pros

Has plenty of technical areas to work upon. Casual management style. Good place to start career, but do not stay more than 2-3 years

Cons

It is only good for some initial years. After a certain time, management treats you like you are stuck there just because you didnt get job somewhere else...
