Pros

Typical MNC with decent salary hikes offered to lateral joiners. Free snacks in the evening. There are good libraries at every campus. Sometimes, work can get over much before the day ends (though this depends very much on the project one is assigned).

Cons

Hexaware is basically a Body shopping enterprise. They're a wannabe TCS, or Infosys but have a very long way to go, simply because most of their projects are either support projects, or projects in partnership with a solution provider like SAP, Pega, Guidewire, etc. They've started mandatory training programmes with the threat that those who don't complete them, shall be given low ratings. Doesn't matter if people spend a long time resolving clients' issues. As a result, people copy, take help from friends and somehow pass those tests. This is a TIGHT SHIP. During the Covid-19 outbreak nowadays, a number of employees are being thrown out, many allegedly without full 3 months' pay. I'm very scared about my job, though my managers assured our team that we're all safe......for now at least. Even in 2016 there was a sudden round of layoffs. So, do NOT join here thinking you're here to "settle down" or "grow" with the firm. You can be thrown out anytime. Here, only old timers who've been for 15-20 years and are entrenched in the politics and connections can survive somewhat better (but that's true of any MNC). Recent hires, regardless of designation, are never safe. When the CEO and (new) CPO start babbling about the "great work" being done by the employees, that typically is a bad sign. As expected, during this Covid-19 phase, there were many layoffs. Meanwhile, these two guys continue to hold virtual "Koffee" sessions, and other "feel good" webinars with celeb chefs and hair-stylists, so that when the layoff gun is aimed at the employees, they're caught off-guard. Silly rule of spending at least 9.15 hours at office. Summary : It's not wise to spend more than 2-3 years here (regardless of Covid-19). You never know when you will be next.
