Pros

HeyGen provides outstanding autonomy and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions. The team is smart and hardworking, with a collaborative culture where people take ownership of their work. It’s hands down a job that has truly helped me develop in incredible ways. Joshua, the CEO, is genuinely invested in his team's development. He makes time for his direct reports and provides solid support and guidance. I've learned quite a bit working under his leadership. He is one of the hardest working leaders and his energy is contagious. The work moves quickly and you can see the impact of your efforts. Compensation is fair and performance is fairly recognized. The company's growth trajectory makes the challenging work feel worthwhile. The AI product space is fascinating and you get exposure to cutting-edge technology. There's consistent learning and development opportunities.

Cons

This isn't the role for you if you prefer slower-paced environments or highly structured processes. The high-growth startup setting means you need to be comfortable with change and taking initiative.

Pros

- AI Frontier Lab on the cutting edge of AI Video. Very cool to be able to play with models before the public. - Cool projects that span across AI + Infra + Product - Rewards High performance with bonuses ($5K spot bonus) and upwards mobility (promotions in less than a year) - 4x in revenue since I joined (1 year ago)

Cons

- Expect to work a lot to keep up with the market. I work 60hrs a week minimum - Hard to work here if you are not passionate about AI Video. You have to keep up with people's AI Video passion. - A lot of secrecy around the underlying technology, very silo'ed information - 5 days in office
