Pros

Used to be an awesome company to work for. When Joe Walsh was at the helm, things were great, people were happy. They cared about their jobs and the company.

Cons

Since a shift in leadership we endured Mike Pocock who virtually bankrupted us with his terrible plan for the company. Now we are owned by our debtors, and David Eckert is putting any and everything possible offshore, no matter if it makes sense or not.

Pros

Pleasant co-workers, nice facility with good amenities like cafeteria and workout room, plenty of free parking, local staff is a reasonably caring bunch.

Cons

On the website development team, it's quantity over quality. Your production is viewed in terms of numbers only, which in website development, can be problematic. Essentially, they'd rather have you churn out four crummy sites a day than three really good ones. And they badger you about "hitting your numbers" seemingly twice a day. If you don't care about your work product, it's easy enough to do. But if you believe that doing a job well can require a sliding scale of time commitment--and you personally insist on a quality work product--find another employer. Had my position outsourced overseas after less than three months. Just as well, because the numbers-above-quality focus grew tiresome quickly. Given that I just received an invite to return to the company, management appears to have seen the error of its ways--yes, quality does count for something, and they appear to be returning some of the web fulfillment functions back to the U.S. But I have zero desire to even explore returning, even were I offered a significant raise. Once you develop a reputation for seemingly whimsical hiring and firing, why would anyone volunteer to return to such a meat grinder where you have first-hand evidence it could happen again?

Pros

Good opportunity for a first sales job - to get your feet wet. Great training program in theory, you learn a lot, but the practical application of training isn't there.

Cons

This company has so many internal problems that no employee can trust them. One minute your getting a significant salary bump and iPads and the next, they're doing massive layoffs. The manage by fear - and the current management in place has no idea how to actually sell the products they push.
