- The timings are not flexible.
- Employees are treated as manufacturing machines here, not humans. The VP even repeats this point multiple times in all his dull speeches (which are nothing but grandstanding anyway).
- Just 30 days of paid leaves every year (excluding national holidays). That's below industry standards.
- While the compensation is decent, the benefits aren't. In fact, I still don't understand what the benefits are.
- It takes them 8 months to confirm a new employee. Not cool.
- Smart casual wear allowed only on Fridays. They don't trust their employees to make the right choice.
- Not allowed to listen to music while working. Too many distractions in the office to concentrate on work and still be creative.
- They have a team outing every month, but every employee is given only INR 500 (<$10) to spend. It's nothing but forced team bonding.
- Impossible targets. Every employee is expected to write 12.6 pages of any given website(s) per day, or submit 1.8 sites (9 websites every week). Considering the wide range of businesses out there, and the variety of website templates which we use to write our content on, it's impossible to achieve the target without hampering our creativity. Some get lucky with their sites, but most don't. As a result, the overall morale of the team is always down.
- There's no place to relax if you're feeling stressed out.
- Not much room to grow in the company.
