Pros
The company has an great work life balance: flexible work hours, frequent opportunities to work from home, minimal travel. The benefits and salary are very competitive, including bonuses. The company has a Philanthropic mindset and tries to hold regular events to keep up morale. Company has been working hard to make the post-yellowbook business model work. They have worked themselves out of the financial and debt problems and are trying to grow their new digital business. Engineering department has the ability to make technical decisions with few restrictions.
Cons
Some parts of organization are overly bloated and processes can be burdensome at times. Little opportunity for career advancement. Leadership team does not seem execute very well or have good vision for future product/business growth. Overall company morale is somewhat low due to the consistent downsizing of the old yellowbook business. Ineffective use of offshore resources.
