      I have worked for this company for almost six years as a rep,selling manager and now sales manager.

      Pros

      Good products and great partnership with google. Hard work can be rewarded, but objectives are very hard. They invest a lot if time into the training of new sales reps.

      Cons

      Senior management. Being owned by a bank, hard to achieve bonus structure for reps and managers. Not streamlined on a company philosophy of message. Inability to realize print in dead. The newer division of reps is very odd. BDR reps have extremely hard quotas and are forced to sell garbage to hit their goals. They do not do what's right for the customer. There are some great people that I have encountered; but on a whole senior management are genuinely not good human beings. No one is sure if they will have a job when they wake up everyday, that is an awful feeling.

      Pros

      A potentially fabulous opportunity to be a part of huge corporate transformation. There is a lots of industry competition but the market is huge and so they only need to stake out a little piece of it to make it work.

      Cons

      Very disheartening and frustrating for IT. Very little sense of accomplishment, security or pride in what you do. There was a real lack of a positive message that what you were doing was a vital 'cog in the machine'. Yes, there was so much effort & contribution from every part of the business that had to pull together to transform yellowbook to the new digital products of hibu. Without a doubt. But from this persons IT perspective - the biggest message was always a bit jumbled and messy - but it came thru as 'you cost too much and don't be too sure we won't just send your job overseas.'

      Great salary, terrible employer - no work life balance, must love to be micro-managed

      Pros

      Great pay, great way to meet people in the community, great magazines, flexible hours, working remote, great colleagues who are now friends.

      Cons

      Outsourcers, giving jobs to India mostly - long hours, sometimes 24 hours straight - technology a joke, caused more problems and time delays which you get blamed for - micro-managers out the wazoo - only interested in the digital side of company - no support system - very unstable - huge layoffs - upper management in their own world - and can I say again micro-managers - the middle management always as worried about their jobs as everyone else so it was nightmare - upper management and headquarters having a grand old time.
